It’s where my journey began, capturing the joy of hundreds of smiling faces, both young and old, as they see themselves through a cartoon lens. North Carolina hosts an annual State Fair, brimming with thrilling rides, exciting games, delicious food, and, of course, live caricatures. Join me for a whirlwind of fun! Digital caricatures drawn live on the spot offer a unique way to capture moments with a stylized flair. Customers can choose to have their images printed or downloaded, providing flexibility in preserving their experience.
Studio session
Please send me a photo of you, your pets, or your friends, and I’ll create a caricature for you. Our studio session mediums include ink, digital, airbrush, paint, and CG models for 3D prints.
A little about me
From a young age, I’ve been captivated by the world of art, dreaming of becoming an artist. However, I soon discovered the challenges of making a living in this field. Regardless of skill, artists often face the daunting task of creating something that resonates with people, turning it into a guessing game of what truly appeals to them.
This quest led me down various paths over the years, including sculpting, tattooing, animation, and illustration. Yet, it wasn’t until several years ago that I realized what I had been overlooking: people adore themselves, especially images of themselves. Caricatures offer a creative outlet that brings joy and smiles to people’s faces.
A good friend, after reviewing my portfolio filled with monsters featuring exaggerated, comical expressions, suggested I try caricature art. He believed this style would translate well to caricatures. Under his guidance, I began drawing at the state fair with his team. Initially, it felt like stepping backward, as I hadn’t drawn on paper in years and hadn’t used a colored pencil since childhood. But soon, I overcame these challenges and fell in love with capturing people’s essence through my drawings.
